Metal Handles And Latches For Doors, Drawers, And Gates

Going through my photos I could see that it was time to look at handles
for doors, drawers and gates to give a few ideas for designers, and builders.

Above are handles for the doors into the Albuquerque Aquarium.

The handles above help create a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired entrance
to the Thorncrown Chapel, designed by Fay Jones, in Eureka Springs Arkansas.

To see more of the chapel go to my earlier post
or go to the right sidebar and click on

This striking lion door comes from the post
a town that has some of the nicest doors I have seen.

To see the family shop where these doors were made go to the post

The ruins of the jail in Hillsboro, N.M. still have this formidable door,

For more on the area go to LABELS- NEW MEXICO on the right sidebar
and click on Building In Hillsboro And Kingston New Mexico.

The next three gates (above and below) are also from Alamos, Sonora.

Hard not to like this latch, above.

There is something about the round shape that has a very oriental feel.

And finally this handle lives in San Ignacio, Baja California Sur.

You can look under LABELS- MEXICO on the right sidebar
and click on Building In Baja California Sur to see more of the area.
