there is no place quite like Guanajuato in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.

There is nothing stopping people here from using of lots of color...
...and the whole city is full of it.
I have very little concept of color
and in a pinch I will always fall back on white...
...but visiting a place like Guanajuato makes me realize
what one can do to liven up a space.
The back alleys, of which there are many here, are colorful.
And even the taggers want to get in on the act.

In some cities, such as Patzcuaro, Michoacan, everthing is painted the same color...
...but certainly not here.
If you ever need some inspiration picking out color
Guanajuato would be well worth a trip.
